Von der Unternehmerin zur Schriftstellerin: Mitten in der Corona-Pandemie hat sich die schwedische Wahlösterreicherin und Unternehmerin Paula Czeczil dazu entschlossen, ihren Debütroman zu schreiben. „Der blaue Peter“, so der Titel des Motivationsbuchs, das nicht wie üblich als Ratgeber, sondern als Roman daherkommt und vor allem Frauen Mut machen soll, konsequent ihren Weg zu gehen – ohne Angst und Selbstzweifel vorwärtszumarschieren.

Es war vor etwas mehr als einem Jahr, als Paula Czeczil, ihres Zeichens Wiener Start-up-Gründerin (Wocodea), beschlossen hatte, ihren Autounfall im Alter von 20 Jahren mit anschließender Amnesie literarisch festzuhalten. So machte sich die Neoautorin ans Werk und hörte ein Pandemiejahr lang nicht mehr auf zu schreiben.

Im Jänner 2022 war es dann so weit, ihr Erstlingswerk „Der blaue Peter“ wurde fertiggestellt und vom MyMorawa-Verlag herausgegeben. Wie die Autorin selbst öffnet darin auch die 20-jährige Protagonisten Sophia eines Tages ihre Augen und weiß weder wer sie ist noch wo sie sich befindet. „Meine Erinnerung kam nur langsam zurück. An den Autounfall selbst bzw. die unmittelbare Zeit davor kann ich mich heute noch immer nicht erinnern. Alles in allem habe ich in der Zeit der Amnesie gelernt, dass es darauf ankommt, Ziele für die Zukunft zu definieren und diese dann Schritt für Schritt umzusetzen. Die Tatsache, dass ich damals nicht durch Ereignisse aus der Vergangenheit vorbelastet bzw. abgelenkt war, hat mir sehr geholfen“, so die Autorin.

„Wir Frauen können so viel mehr, als wir uns zutrauen.“

„Im Grunde wollte ich mit meinem Buch möglichst viele Frauen dazu motivieren, ihren Weg konsequent zu gehen – ohne Angst und Selbstzweifel. Und ohne hartnäckige Blockaden aus der Vergangenheit“, erzählt Paula Czeczil. Ihr Debütwerk ist ein Motivationsbuch, das jedoch kein konventioneller Ratgeber ist, sondern als Roman. Zudem wird man als LeserIn vergeblich nach etwaigen Tipps suchen, die wir alle schon Tausende Male gehört oder gelesen haben und deren Umsetzung meist nicht so recht in den Alltag passen will.

Paula Czeczil wollte einfach nur eine Geschichte erzählen. Eine Geschichte, die Frauen Mut macht und ihnen das Selbstvertrauen gibt, vorwärtszugehen, ohne nach hinten zu schauen; ohne Vorbelastung aufgrund von Erinnerungen durchs Leben zu gehen. „Wir Frauen können so viel mehr, als wir uns zutrauen“, betont die Autorin, die sich selbst vor rund zwei Jahren etwa auch nicht zugetraut hätte, einen Roman zu schreiben – „noch dazu auf Deutsch und nicht in meiner Muttersprache Schwedisch“. Es geht nicht um materiellen Reichtum „Mir persönlich ging es nie um Reichtum! Auch in ‚Der blaue Peter‘ geht es nicht um materiellen Erfolg, ganz im Gegenteil. Vielmehr geht es darum, ein selbstbestimmtes und möglichst freies Leben zu leben, das man in vollen Zügen genießen kann“, meint Paula Czeczil.

Sie möchte in lebenskünstlerischer Art und Weise ihre Umgebung mit Energie bereichern. Mutig sein und trotz Gegenwind weitersegeln. Und genau das wünscht sie sich auch für alle anderen Frauen. „So machen wir diese Welt zu einem schöneren Ort.“

Mit einem Schlag verändert sich Sophias Leben, als sie im Sand auf der Insel Zindra aufwacht und keine Ahnung hat, wo oder wer sie ist. Trotzdem fühlt sie sich lebendig und bei den Inselbewohnern entpuppt sich der Erinnerungsverlust als ein Geschenk. Denn die meisten verbringen ihr Leben damit, über alles nachzudenken, was hätte sein können und nie geschah, während Sophia ihre Aufmerksamkeit darauf richtet, was werden soll……
